PRINCE K. ASARE

Prince is a private legal practitioner and an entrepreneur with combined experience of more than 20 years. He also holds a Masters of Law (LL.M) in taxation.

 

He is a senior managing partner of PK Asare & Partners and practices primarily in the areas of Family Law, Corporate Law and Land Litigation.

 

Currently, he consults on transactional,  and Compliance frameworks for local and multinational companies in the commodities and construction industries.

 

He is passionate about using his rich entrepreneurial experience to network with other professionals to explore opportunities for the advancement of the legal profession and the reduction of poverty in Ghana and other developing countries.

YORM AMA ABLEDU

Yorm is a bilingual Legal Practitioner and a Harvard Certified Negotiator holding a postgraduate degree in Oil and Gas Law (International Investment Arbitration) from University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Over the past 4 years, she has achieved 100% success on Oil and Gas cases valued at about USD 7m. 


In 2014, she obtained her master’s degree in oil and gas Law with professional skills from University of Aberdeen, Scotland, where her outstanding academic performance won her the Ede & Ravenscroft 2014 Prize for academic Excellence. Within the same period, Yorm attained certification from the Oil and Gas Academy of Scotland as an Oil and Gas contract negotiator.

 

She was called to the Bar in 2016 after which she joined Bentsi Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah, a leading law firm in Ghana, practising primarily in the areas of Corporate Law, Litigation, Oil and Gas and Mining Law. Currently, she consults on Petroleum Agreements, Regulatory and Compliance Framework, Tax, Labour and Employment issues for local and multinational companies in the Energy Sector.


Yorm is also certified in Human Rights and Oil and Gas Law from the Fordham University and her passion for Human Rights Law was reflected in how she won a total of 57 human rights cases on behalf of several indigents over a 12 months’ period in her position as Assistant Public Defender under the Legal Aid Commission, where she continues her pro-bono service.

EGYA KOJO BOTWE

Egya devotes 90 percent of his practice to litigation, offers knowledgeable and highly skilled legal representation, and is committed to providing personalized service to clients.
Egya is a diligent and confident litigation lawyer and his ambit over the years have covered many areas of the law. As a trial lawyer, he is dedicated to seeking optimal results for clients whether he is pursuing or defending a claim. He has acted for both international and local companies in a number of industries, including telecommunication, media and broadcasting, oil and gas, commerce, construction, automotive, maritime, real estate, as well as for some financial institutions. He has also represented individual clients on a host of contentious matters arising out of family law, criminal law, land law and property, labour law, probate and estate administration, and insurance law. His key strength is having adequate understanding of human interaction thereby aiding to glean information from clients in order to better represent them. 


Before becoming a lawyer, Egya worked as a Regional Coordinator for the Ghana TVET Voucher Project – a 22 million Euro project financed by Ghanaian – German Finance Cooperation Co-financed by the German Government through KfW.  He is the Co-Founder of African Heights Foundation, a non-governmental organisation funded by the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) with the aim of training and encouraging the youth in Ghana to contribute and participate in decision-making process. He has offered consultancy services to the World Bank-DANIDA funded USD 70 million Skills Development Project in Ghana. He also worked as an adviser/gateway assessor for the Citizens Advice Bureau, Eccles, Manchester, where he provided independent and impartial advice to people living in the UK on a wide range of issues including employment, consumer, immigration and asylum, debt, injury, social welfare and housing. He also assisted the organization to contribute to the development of social policies.
